Megan Caldwell Chandler

This is my first real blog post on my first real blog, and this makes me say, “Yikes.”  As many of you know (and some who don’t) I’ve taken the leap into a new career.  I’ve spent the past eight years since graduation working in education, and as of two weeks ago I began working full time as an artist.  So, here I am in my studio doing…  Well, I guess that’s the big question, what am I doing?  What’s my plan?  Obviously I’m going to create, but I realize I can’t just create without an audience.  Hence this blog. 

My hope is to use this blog to track my work, ideas, inspirations, successes, and failures.  My head is one big jumble of ideas, and I’m trying to figure out which direction I’m going to take.  I want to catalogue my journey through this new endeavor and hopefully garner a community of people who can share their trials and tribulations with me as well.
