Dual

This week’s piece is another collaboration between myself and my brother, Travis.  I created two corresponding books, and Travis created a box in which the books would be housed and displayed.

The text in the books Remember and Forget read as follows:

Remember, being cynical is a problem for you to fix.  To be pessimistic is to live in a way that makes others uncomfortable.  Remember, making others comfortable is what your woman body was made to do.  So please, please be positive.  God and man need you.

Forget about that time you thought you would be at ease.  Guilt has no time for happiness.  Make way for the crippling fear of failing all your nearest and dearest.  You will lose them all if you are not careful.  I know you won’t forget.

    Thanks for continuing to share your works and thoughts as an emerging artist.
    It’s good to see that you and Travis are collaborating, too, using your God-given skills.
