Cursive

I have a new book completed this week, and it’s titled Oh, Hello.  Lately I’ve been enjoying practicing my cursive writing with ink and a paintbrush.  I like the way it looks, and it makes me feel like I’m back in third grade.  I think some of the pages in this book look great; others I think are just so-so.

I’ve only been posting new work every other week, and this makes me feel like a slacker.  Last year I posted almost every week, but now I seem to be slowing down on my production.  On one hand, I want to get angry at myself for not producing as much work.  On the other hand, I think slowing down has given me time to really stop and think about what I’m making and why.  Either way, I tend to feel guilty.
