This week I have a study for a painting to share with you. I don’t consider it a finished work, but rather a little experiment that delves into some new ideas I have for my mixed media paintings.
The idea is not completely fleshed out, but I’m trying to explore the concept of organization. I’m specifically attempting to investigate my dueling affection and contempt for organizing, systematizing, classifying, codifying, etc.
I’ve started work on a larger version of this sketch, and hopefully I’ll have it completed and ready to share next week.
