Despite an exhausting week, I was able to finish a new piece. The title of this work is Red. (Super creative, right?!) Despite the uninspired title, I do really like this finished product.
In addition to this painting, I’ve been working on a series of special handmade books. These books are special because they will be a part of a collaborative work between myself and my brother, Travis. He’s working on a wooden component for this piece. My goal is to have it completed before the new year. I’ll keep you posted.
As a special weekend treat, I leave you with one of my favorite artists, Fiona Apple, singing Red Red Red. It seems fitting. Enjoy!
