#9 & 10

This week I have completed two new pieces, and I have one in progress.

I don’t have much to share this week, except that I’m extremely happy with where this collection is going.  I’ve worked very hard, mentally, to keep myself focused on these materials and this subject matter.  Typically, I jump from idea to idea haphazardly, resulting in many disparate pieces.  This collection of “Holes” is continuing to interest me, and I felt a bit of growth taking place in my process this week.  My ideas still have plenty of room to evolve, and I’m excited to see where my work takes me.

This week has also been fun because I realized I’m down to only three wood panels, which meant I had to buy new art supplies.  Buying new art supplies is one of my most absolute favorite things (I t’s right up there with buying candy).
